Abbey Road (1969 US & UK) This is one of the albums I would choose to listen
to if I were dying. I don't mean to sound morbid, but I these are the kinds
of songs I could take to my grave. This album contains the last line of
the last song on the last Beatles album "and in the end, the love you
take is equal to the love you make". A simple sentence yet full of
meaning. It is the last thing this brilliant band said to us. I take the
thought with me and to me it says "lets all try to extend a little
more love and a little less hate and we'll all be better off". I have
been listening to the Beatles since I was 13 (I'm 35 now) and I NEVER get
tired of them. They are truly timeless. By Chandi J. Wyant - winestone@earthlink.net |
